2. IRobot Roomba X30
The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact, sleek vacuum cleaner that also has the ability to mop floors. Its intelligent cleaning maps and quick navigation make it easy to clean, and efficient in dealing with larger particles like pet hair. It also features a powerful suction and an automatic bin for emptying. It's the most efficient robotic hoover for carpets, however it falls behind some competitors when it comes to deep cleaning.
This high-performance vacuum and mops utilizes sensors that help it keep away from obstacles and pet waste. It also learns the structure of your home over time to provide cleaner and more efficient cleaning. You can alter the schedule of cleaning and even customize zones with the well-designed app. Its battery life is average when compared to similar models.

It also supports voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It even cleans the floor after vacuuming it, something we haven't seen in other robot vacuum/mop combinations.
3. iRobot Roomba X40
With an elegant circular design that looks like a regular Roomba than the competition's boxes this mop and robot vacuum is among the most appealing looking in our evaluations. The newest model from iRobot happens to be its smartest and has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).
It's the only robotic mop or vacuum that has 100% in our evaluations thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors that include a camera, structured light system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that is fully autonomously refill and empty its base station, and it has an its own self-cleaning mop pads.
As with other iRobot models like the X40 is easy to use, offering an easy mobile app interface and integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant. The only downside is that the X40 still a noisy unit. This can be a concern in the mornings before work, or in the evening when you are trying to sleep.
It's also a bit expensive however, not as expensive as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or the Roborock S8 Omni, which are equally capable and better looking. This is a dual-purpose vacuum that is very efficient however, it's more expensive and produce more noise.
iRobot L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the line robot vacuum and mop. It has a number of advanced features that will make you forget about your chores. Like Ecovacs the range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-free cleaning machine that takes charge of both vacuuming and mopping, with a multifunction dock that automatically emptys the vacuum's trash bin, refills its water tank, cleans and dry its mop pads.
The smart robot utilizes LIDAR and structured lighting to map out floorplans and identify obstacles. It is more efficient in its navigation than its top competitors. It also has a front mounted camera for real-time hazards detection however this was not completely foolproof in our tests, and was often confused with obstructions or power cords.
The vacuum cleaner comes with an maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to accomplish the task.
